Choose a direction
Hello Games presents No Man’s Sky as exploration and survival in a procedurally generated galaxy. Its official overview describes travel between planets and an invitation to explore at your own pace. Scale supplies possibilities; the description leaves room for a traveller to choose a direction.
Size is not the same as significance
A larger horizon can be exciting without making every destination meaningful. Ask what turns a location into somewhere you remember: a question you brought with you, something you noticed or a decision to stay. Those meanings need not come from reaching the furthest point.
Give curiosity a small task
Before entering an expansive setting, consider a modest intention: find a view you like, understand one unfamiliar detail or simply follow a direction that interests you. A personal intention can give a large possibility space a manageable shape.
