Editorial standards
Show the sources. Make the argument.
A good essay gives you something to agree with, question or take into your next game.
Sources and interpretation
We link to developer and publisher material for the game details an essay discusses. The argument that follows is our interpretation. Source-based essays are distinct from hands-on reviews; they do not imply that we have tested a game.
Spoilers
Our essays discuss the premise and broad themes. They avoid plot endings, puzzle solutions and hidden routes.
