Escape as a proposition
Supergiant introduces Hades as a roguelike dungeon crawler about fighting out of the Underworld. Its official framing connects action with an escape objective. That gives us a starting point for thinking about repeated attempts, without treating the genre label as proof that every player will enjoy the process.
Look for a question, not only a reward
Separate wanting a result from wanting another attempt. You might return because an action feels satisfying, because you have an idea to try, or because a previous mistake has become understandable. Those motivations can exist before success. When repetition is discussed only as a cost on the way to completion, it is easy to miss whether the activity itself is what you came for.
Name the kind of repetition you enjoy
Think of a challenge you have willingly repeated. Was the attraction precision, improvisation or simply another chance? Use that memory as a question to bring to the official description, not as a prediction that Hades will reproduce the feeling.
